BITC: Botswana One Stop Service Centre (BOSSC), certification, grants and investor facilitation

BITC operates BOSSC — a consolidated investor facilitation centre — and provides investor certification, access to tax relief information and training grants for accredited investors (items described on the BITC site).

Local and foreign investors seeking to establish or expand operations in Botswana; certain incentives conditional on accreditation by BITC.

Standing services and programmes administered on an ongoing basis by BITC/BOSSC.

1. 01 · Investor accreditation application

   Submit BITC investor application to become an accredited client (company documents, project summary, investor contacts).

2. 02 · Project dossier

   Business plan, investment value, proposed jobs, and local content/partnership arrangements where applicable.

3. 03 · Supporting statutory documents

   Certificate of incorporation, shareholder details, tax registration and licences required by line ministries.

4. 04 · Training / grant requests

   If applying for training grants, supply training plans, beneficiary lists, budgets and outcomes measurement framework.
