EDB Mauritius: Premium Investor Certificate (PIC) and investor schemes

EDB Mauritius publishes incentive schemes including the Premium Investor Certificate (PIC) which applies to projects investing at least MUR 500 million (threshold shown on EDB site) and offers a package of incentives and facilitation.

1. 01 · Evidence of qualifying investment

   Documentary proof of intended capital investment (financial commitments, bank letters of support, term sheets).

2. 02 · Project and business plan

   Detailed business plan, financial projections, expected jobs and benefits, and implementation schedule.

3. 03 · Corporate documentation

   Company registration in Mauritius (or plans to incorporate), director and shareholder details, compliance documents.

4. 04 · Regulatory compliance

   Any sector licences, environmental approvals and compliance with local statutory requirements.
